We know everyone is busy with the holidays around the corner but please try to attend our last Earth Day meeting for 2007. Be sure to forward this to anyone who may be interested in volunteering for this Fun & Educational Event ~ including your friends, husbands, wives & children!
Below is a short list of ideas for volunteers and committees:
1. Writing misc. letters
2. Locating & Listing the Earth Day on various internet sites
3. Telephone contacting & follow up calls for Exhibitors, Vendors & Donators
4. Contacting schools & scouts, etc- to entice teachers to create projects for the students
5. Bake Sale
6. Food
7. Locating free magazines & newspapers to advertise Earth Day
8. Fun Activities & Events for the day
7. Raffle Items
8. Donations
Last Earth Day Event we realized too late that requests from many companies & organizations are typically planned the previous year which only leaves us with a few weeks. Teachers also plan the Spring projects for students around this time of year & many of the Exhibitors have to be contacted ahead of time.
